Russia remains scapegoat for Hillary Clinton losing to Trump

Carter Page, former Trump adviser, was baited throughout an entire interview with CNN in yet another effort to blame the lost presidential election on something other than the Left and Hillary Clinton, Tim Young, political commentator and satirist, told RT. According to the latest revelation by CNN, Russian special services tried to use Trump advisers, including Carter Page, to infiltrate the US Presidential elections. Citing anonymous officials, the channel suggested Page didn't know he'd been used by Moscow's agents. Page says the allegations are groundless, calling the initial report on alleged Russian meddling "a political stunt". Interview: https://www.rt.com/op-edge/385783-page-media-cnn-russia/

Britain cuts coal from energy mix for full 24hrs for first time since Industrial Revolution

For the first time since coal-fired electricity began during the Industrial Revolution, Britain has gone a full working day without needing King Coal to power its electricity grid. Solid overall wind, nuclear and gas production, in combination with particularly low demand after the Easter holidays were the key factors that led to the “watershed moment.” “ To have the first working day without coal since the start of the industrial revolution is a watershed moment in how our energy system is changing, ” said Cordi O’Hara, director of UK system operator at National Grid, as cited by the Financial Times. RT, Ruptly crews blocked from Macron HQ despite press requests

RT and Ruptly were not allowed into the headquarters of French presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron, despite earlier being promised accreditation by his team. Producers from RT contacted Macron’s press team earlier in April and were promised accreditation for the evening of the first round of the French presidential elections. However, despite repeated requests accreditation was never received, with the Macron team merely saying, “ They are still being processed. ” And so on Sunday evening, neither RT nor the Ruptly film crew were allowed into the Macron campaign HQ, where there was a heavy security presence. French presidential election, 2017

LIVE It seems that the unexpected rapid rise of the Leftist leader, Jean-Luc Mélenchon has terrified the neoliberal establishment in France and other European power centers. The elites don't want to risk a possible presence of Mélenchon in the second round. In case that they lose their favorite candidate, the liberal Thatcherite and former banker Emmanuel Macron, they certainly prefer the Far-Right Le Pen against the Leftist Mélenchon. The specific weight of France could turn the European ship away from the balance of terror between the nightmares of neoliberalism and the Far-Right. It depends on the French people. It's time to go and vote massively for the Left as the only hope towards a truly democratic and humanitarian Europe. French election: it's 'now or never' for Europe to escape the neoliberal nightmare The establishment in panic will attempt to "bury" Jean-Luc Mélenchon as it did with Bernie Sanders

France, presidential elections : ten proposals to beat the European Union

It is again clear from the current election campaign in France that a large proportion of the population wants left-wing radical solutions to exit the crisis. The impressive number of people attending Jean-Luc Mélenchon’s rallies and joining his movement La France Insoumise is evidence enough as well as poll survey results on voting intentions. This is indeed good reason to rejoice. Such upsurge of support for left-wing radical proposals to turn away from European treaties is a positive signal. Two other left-wing candidates, Philippe Poutou and Nathalie Arthaud, also benefit from a large-scale sympathy. Philippe Poutou’s attack on François Fillon and Marine Le Pen during the 4 April 2017 television debate also prompted a lot of interest , in and outside France. by Eric Toussaint , Teresa Rodríguez , Miguel Urbán Crespo , Angela Klein , Stathis Kouvelakis , Costas Lapavitsas , Zoe Konstantopoulou , Marina Albiol , Olivier Besancenot , Rommy Arce Part 3 To
