It appears
that the Greek government has made a deal with troika to free massive
layoffs, and therefore abolishing the 5% limit, bypassing the law
through ministerial decision.
According to
the newspaper Avgi, the government with troika "have planned a
Greek innovation, according to which the massive layoffs could be
done without the Minister's approvement, but instead ... bypassing
him. Which means that, if the Minister of Labour will not make a
decision in short time, layoffs will be considered as granted".
According to
the article, the process will be passed as an EU community order
which contains some typical commitments for the businesses. In this
way, government will avoid the parliamentary process to change the
law, something which could cause a "governmental accident".
We are
now in a transition phase, where Nation-States self-deconstructed.
This means that they use their legislative and what is left from
their democratic power, with an ultimate goal to self-abolish. It is
a fact that, the more the democracy decreases, as well as human
rights in various levels (labor rights, atomic freedoms, personal
data etc.), the more we are passing in a vicious circle, a
non-returning point, which downgrades democracy and institutions.
Neoliberalism is a transition phase to what the economic elites are
dreaming: anarcho-capitalism.
